SATS's Week 2020
The day has arrived,
It should be the day,
The day we reassure you,
That it will all be okay.
Tonight, should be the night,
We send you all to bed,
After easing all those worries,
In your precious little head.
Tomorrow in a normal year,
You would sit your first SAT’s test.
Instead you’re staying home,
Doing what is best.
The dreaded COVID-19,
Has changed life as we know it.
School’s out, shops are closed,
And the country’s taken a hit.
But just because you won’t,
Sit those test papers this May,
It doesn’t take away the hard work,
You’ve put in up until this day.
SAT’S don’t know your worth,
Or see that you’ve come this far.
SAT’s are just a tiny bit,
Of the person that you are.
I couldn’t be more proud,
Of every one of you!
And I’m certain you’ll achieve.
Whatever you choose to do.
Whether that be a pilot,
Flying a jumbo jet,
An architect or actor,
Or an animal loving vet.
In my eyes you’re all winners,
You’ve smashed every goal and more.
The world is out there waiting,
For your gifts and talents galore.
So, until next time we meet,
Whenever that may be,
Remember you’re all huge stars,
And that’s all that matters to me!
