Places to visit with your children!

A fantastic suggestion from our Parent Forum group was to have a section on the PARENTS part of the website that shares ideas for things to do and places to visit with your children. Parents can suggest places based on value for money, enjoyment and if it is recommended for Primary age pupils. If you have suggestions to share with other parents, then please fill out the ENQUIRY form on our CONTACT US page, and we will add any web links you suggest at the foot of this page! Please be sure to include the full web address and name of venue you are suggestion when filling out the form.

Fun factory

We spent an excellent afternoon at the Fun Factory Rochford a few weeks ago. Entrance is around £7 a child but that includes usual soft play, ice skating (on synthetic ice so no wet bums!) and wall climbing both of which the children can go on and off as many times as they like. There is also a sensory room for smaller children and go karts at an extra cost of £1. Tea and coffee are good too!! Great Notley Country Park

"Olivia and Emily love exploring Great Notley country park in Braintree all for the cost of a parking ticket (approx £4). Has a cafe at the start of the trail but we tend to pack a picnic and save the walk back to the cafe if you haven't finished the trail when you want to eat. Recommend swimming costumes/spare clothes, towel and sand toys."

Tropical Wings

Thanks to Mr Davey for this suggestion of a local butterfly and animal zoo.
